Rainbows

Light travels at 299,792,458 metres per second. That’s the same someone travelling around the equator 7 and a half times per second!! Light travels in a straight line. It can bounce off and reflect.
When light goes through something dense – like a prism or water, it splits into the colours of the rainbow. ROYGBIV. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet.
That’s how rainbows are formed.
