Is it a Solid or is it a Liquid?

We made Oobleck (or Gloop!) today. Amazing stuff that is made out of  cornflour and water.

We then had fun watching the team on the Brainiac Show demonstrate walking on custard- a similar texture

After this, we also viewed a short clip on Liquefaction, taken after the big earthquakes in Christchurch. It was interesting seeing what happened to the liquefaction once it was shaken around a bit. Some good connections were made here with what we had already learnt.
